Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) – movie review

Last year, Marvel released three sequels and one original film. This year, they are releasing two original films and one sequel. That sequel was Avengers: Age of Ultron. And by Thor it is one amazing sequel.

The first Avengers had to establish the characters then slowly ease them into the action, while this film is dealing with characters that have been established and can get straight to the action.

Joss Whedon writes and directs a superhero film that is every comic fanboy’s fantasy and more. Mushing every character from The Avenger‘s individual films (e.g. Iron Man, Thor, etc.) into one action-packed Marvel extravaganza makes for some excellent popcorn entertainment.

James Spader is (in my opinion) the single greatest Marvel villain we have ever had the pleasure of seeing on the big screen as Ultron.

And with all of the above outstanding criteria being met, I highly recommend this film to anyone who has ever seen (and liked) any superhero film from the last ten years (or any action film for that matter).
